About

Rome Is No Fun, otherwise known as Rome, is a recording artist and musician whose influences span punk, alternative rock, shoegaze, and hip hop. He began his musical journey playing drums throughout his childhood before transitioning into music production in his late teens.

In his early twenties, Rome started recording vocals while continuing to produce music with the group BrokenBoys, and formerly released work under the name xrome. He later played bass for UGS, the band born out of Faded Decade, before expanding into acoustic and electric guitar.

Now performing as Rome Is No Fun, he has begun experimenting more with live instrumentation and instrumental albums, with more to come both sonically and vocally.

Alongside his work in music, Rome is a co-founder of Faded Decade. From the beginning, he played a central role in shaping the brand’s visual identity and creative direction, helping merge music, fashion, and culture into a single platform.
